Cornerback

One priority entering the draft is to add depth to the secondary. Primarily at cornerback, where they could use more production next season. Kansas City will have plenty of prospects to consider.

Gareon Conley, Adoree Jackson, Jourdan Lewis, and Quincy Wilson could still be on the board when the Chiefs make their selection. Wilson is a dynamic corner, with good speed, and good strength. He tends to get lost in coverage, and doesn't recover well once beaten on a route.

Jackson and Lewis have better coverage skills, but both are a bit undersized, and don't match up as well against receivers at the next level. Conley is a possible hidden gem. He has good coverage skills, combined with good speed and agility, and he makes solid hits in run support.

Linebacker

Another need entering the draft for the Chiefs is finding a potential replacement for Derrick Johnson, who is 34 years old. Cunningham, Foster, and Riddick should be off the board, so the the Chiefs would have to reach to fill this position.

The next inside linebacker on the board would be Raekwon McMillan, so the Chiefs would have to hope one of the top three drops this far into the draft. McMillan is a good prospect at the position, but he's not a first round talent, so he would be a huge reach at this point of the draft.

Defensive Line

Arguably the top priority for the Chiefs is finding a solid prospect for their defensive line. Finding the right prospect could improve defensive production next season, and help make the Chiefs be a legitimate contender for the AFC championship.

Malik McDowell would be a solid addition, but he likely wont drop this far, so the Chiefs will give consideration to the next big defensive lineman. Montravius Adams value after a good combine has placed him as a possible late first round selection.

Adams gets a quick jump off the snap, and uses his bullish strength to push his way into opposing backfields. Aside from providing the Chiefs with another pass rushing presence, Adams is also a force against the run. If McDowell does drop this deep into the first round, the Chiefs will likely take him off the board.

If you were the GM of the Kansas City Chiefs, who would you pick?
