Carolina Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis played Super Bowl 50 despite a broken arm that required surgery just two weeks ago.

He wore a heavy cast as the Panthers defense played fairly well despite the 24-10 loss, holding the Denver Broncos offense to just 194 yards, fewest by a Super Bowl-winning team.

After the game, Davis posted an Instagram photo of his surgically repaired arm, which looks like a nasty, stitched up football.
