San Francisco’s Frank Gore led all week 6 rushers using CHFF’s Rusher Rating System. His 15 carries for 141 yards (9.40 yards-per-carry) and one touchdown gave him a Rusher Rating of 157.13. Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson was second with a 147.05 Rusher Rating. For the season, Chris “Beanie” Wells took a slim lead over Jackson without a drop of sweat (bye week).

As the season has progressed, the Rusher Rating Differential has started to take shape. Six of the eight division winners appear in the top ten, based on Rusher Rating Differential. The two teams that are not on the list had a bye this week (San Diego and Tennessee). Seventy percent of the top ten has a winning record with a total winning percentage of 78 percent. The total winning percentage of the overall top ten is 62.7 percent.
